Whether in collaborative practice or mediation, dispute resolution is dangerous because simply discussing differences contains the possibility of divergence, separation and loss. Relational conflicts are especially dangerous because they are cyclical, chronic, intractable and systemic while at the same time they are intimate, heartfelt, deeply sensitive, highly complex and emotional. This 1-day experiential training focuses on how to deal effectively with the most intractable relational disputes. The format of this training includes lecture, demonstrations, participatory exercises and role plays along with detailed handouts.
